Course Details
A Python blockchain is simply a list of records (i.e. blocks) that are linked to one another in a transactional chain that is immutable, unhackable, persistent and distributed. Before we explain how to build a blockchain in Python, let’s go back to the very start. In 2008, an author (or authors) under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto released a white paper describing a purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash. Unique to this electronic cash system, transactions would not have to rely on third-party verifications to ensure the security of each transaction. Instead, each transaction would be timestamped, then hashed into an ongoing chain of hash-based proof-of-work. So what are hashing and proof-of-work? We’ll introduce these concepts in this article and reveal how they establish the groundwork for an encrypted electronic cash system, or cryptocurrency. The specific form of electronic currency that Satoshi Nakamoto described in his (or her) paper became known as Bitcoin, the first cryptocurrency.

An online course degree is similar to taking a degree program on campus. Attending a live instructional course will be similar to attending a lecture but in the comfort of your location. Our Academy and your course instructor will determine the format for each course and will select the best-suited curriculum and projects for your course or program.
You will need a computer, a high-speed Internet connection, a newer version of a web browser, and access to common tools and software like word processors, email, etc. Some courses may have other software or technology requirements as well. If there are special labs included all you need is to follow your trainer’s instruction to log in to our virtual labs.
We are yet to introduce courses with Self-paced learning means you can learn in your own time and schedule.
